What you see is not always true. The project that reinterpret the idea about universal design.














Tamara is a city that was developed by symbols from Invisible City. People believe the symbol is universal. This project is visual representation of Tamara through my interpretation. And, I interpret the symbols in different ways.

First, I created chose eight symbols from the book and created simple symbols.

And than, I surveyed to people from different countries, Germany, Bulgaria, Jordan, and Thailand. And, asked them what those symbols mean to you.

Next, I searched what they said on the search engine in their own countries such as google Thailand or google Jordan and collected images first image showed up.

Finally, I created the four sides open pop-up book with what symbol means to different people, and what that means in their countries.
